Seniors Juan Chantaca and Rory Catsimanes, along with junior Brett Ephraim of San Clemente High in California all placed in the top seven of the Division 1 boys senior/invitational 3-mile race at the 48th Dana Hills Nike Invitational at Dana Hills High in Dana Point. Chantaca finished fourth in 14:47.6, Ephraim placed fifth in 14:50.3 and Catsimanes was seventh in 14:51.0, leading five San Clemente athletes in the top 30 overall to produce a 53-118 victory over Great Oak High.
